Basket ball - Perry Lakes Hawks and Lakeside lightning in position for close concluded in SBL

The Hawks finished Lakeside's 18-game pleasing streak with a 78-76 victory of the best-of-three serie in game one s last weekend and are just one win away from proceeding to the grand finale to face Wanneroo Wolves or Cockburn Cougars.

The Lightning had refused to answers for star Anthony Lee in game one as he closed with 38 points and 14 rebounds and they'll have to do a improved job on the star Hawks onward to advance to grand final to their sixth in seven years.

But Perry Lakes still have to do what no team has accomplished this season and beat the Lightning at Lakeside Recreation Centre, in either game two on Friday or game three, if essential on Saturday, to qualify for its eighth grand final and seventh since 2000.
Lakeside had lost just two times all season before diminishing in game one and will have to conquer the nonappearance of young guard Kyle Armour to uphold its perfect home record.
